![]() ![]() Chapter 2 presents a comparison and adaptation of Motor Behavior concepts to Music Performance. ![]() Developed in 5 phases (exploratory, comparative, experimental, propositional and applied), it includes findings of about 15 years of research sponsored by UFMG (Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais) and Brazilian research agencies CNPq and FAPEMIG, related to the work of research groups ECAPMUS (Studies on Motor Behavior applied to Music Performance) and PPPMUS (“Pearls” and “Hot Potatoes” of Music Performance). Interdisciplinary post-doctorate dissertation on the interface among Music (Music Performance), Physical Education (Motor Behavior) and Physics (Acoustics), aims at proposing a sensory-motor system to control the intonation on the double bass. ![]()
